What we are about
We are an
acts 2 church

We are a great commission
church
The early church was DEVOTED to the Apostles teaching, the fellowship, the breaking of bread, and the prayers. As a church, we seek to prioritize each of these ideals. We specifically work to make sure we have pathways for congregants to grow in their ability to carefully read, interpret, and apply the Word in their daily lives. We believe in a high standard of commitment and accountability within the local body (the first step to following Jesus is denying ourselves by taking up our cross and following, so we believe that by lowering the standards of followership we are doing genuine Christ seekers a grave disservice). We actively make room in the church calendar for our relationships to increase in depth. We choose to be unified in gospel mission over minor distinctives.

Being a GCC means that we will prioritize making disciples (that make disciples) at all costs. We do not believe in the smorgasbord approach to ministry (trying to make sure we have something for everyone). We believe in doing less things with more intention, specifically anything that directly relates to disciple making. When we meet as a leadership to consider any major decision, our qualifying question will always be, "Does this help, or hinder us in our mission to make disciples?"
